Scripture

2 Nephi 31:20

Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life.

Crazy week!

Hey everyone!
This week has been crazy but great. On Monday we cooked lunch for the elders because they're babies. No just kidding. Lol. No they're like our brothers and didn't have time so we had lunch together in the church and then had our district activity which of course was play soccer. I'm not a fan of soccer so the hermanas, we played ultimate Frisbee. Haha. On Tuesday, We had our district meeting, visited people but everyone was sleeping because it was siesta, like everyday but its okay because we ended our day by helping a recent convert remember he has a testimony and then we had choir practice!
Wednesday, It was terrible hot, but overcame it. Haha. I don't know why but Argentina is terribly hot and just uncomfortable to live and walk around because its so so humid. At least for the life of missionaries. At night, we then traveled to Banfield because I had an appointment to receive my DNI, I don't know what its called in English. Oh yeah I'm forgetting English its great. Haha. So sorry if I don't make sense in the letters I write. Thursday morning we then had our appointment and Guess What?! I'M finally legal here. Half way through my mission I'm legalized. Its really funny. We then visited less active families in the evening with Hermana Walker because we had exchanges in the morning after tramites. Hermana Walker was in the CCM with me and we arrived to the mission together so its fun to be with her. Friday, we had our weekly planning and studies. And on Saturday, We helped Ciudad Evita 1 have a capilla abierta, so in the morning we handed out invitacions to everyone but it was cloudy outside and everyone was sleeping so it was a little hard. And then it started to rain with lightning and thunder. And if any of you know but when there's lightning its really dangerous in Argentina because its totally flat everywhere. So we were running back to the church because we were drenched and then as we were running, there was a huge light in the air in front of us, almost as if someone took a picture of us from the sky. We were really close to the lightning and the thunder was like 3 seconds after it and so yeah. Most scariest moment ever. And to end this story, we got lost because we were in the area of Ciudad Evita 1. And we were actually on the other side of the town of Ciudad Evita. It was lovely. We finally returned back to the church and no one ended up showing up to the capilla abierta because it was raining the entire time, so it was really sad because all the members were inside ready to present. And Sunday, the hermanas that live in front of us moved out because president closed their area in the middle of the traslado so we have their keys to their apartment but the best part is, is that we received permission if we want things from the apartment of the hermanas we can have it, as long as we don't take everything. Woohoo! And that was my week. I'm learning so much right now, to take advantage of every moment that we have because days are so short and before it'll be Christmas tomorrow. I seriously can't believe how fast time is going. I love the this work and I love being a missionary, especially in Argentina. I love you all and have a good week!

My cute companion!

We were in exchanges this week.  For Thanksgiving we ate crackers with peach jelly.  It's similar to pie right?
