Temple with Maxi

Hey Hey Hey!

This week was full of so many things! During the week we had our zone conference and it was booger freezing but we had an activity outside at then park so that was fun. To get back to the area where we were it took like 4 hours to travel, so we slept at the apartment of other sisters. lol. It was a party because we were 6 sister missionaries. Lol. We found an amazing family, they have 6 kids and are going through some trials right now so it was awesome that we could find them. And the best thing ever that happened is I was able to go to the temple with Maxi, my convert so he can receive his endowments! He was so happy and it was such a beautiful experience. Maxi will be a great missionary I know it. The week flew by so fast and I know these last few weeks will be even faster. I love you all!

Spiritual Week

8/7/17

Milagros!

This week we were with Hermana Ortiz and Hermana Moreta one of my ex companions!

I loved this week so much because it was so spiritual. We found a family! The Asmar family, their an old couple and live with their grandson which is 19 years old. The 19 year old Leonel accepted to be baptized and came to church on Sunday! Also, we found a woman named Irma! She’s so sweet and loving. Not that religious, lives alone with her parrot that talks and just is the cutest old lady. And she came to church also. I love it when people are looking for the truth and just act upon their own will and do it because they want to. And lastly, Celina, A little old lady that was super sad outside of her house. She told us that her husband committed suicide and someone killed her two younger sons. We tried to teach her but she was so sad and has been through so much that every time we spoke shed remember something from her past. All we could do is just hug her and tell her everything well be okay and that shell see her loved ones again. I love being a missionary because the people that don’t have this gospel in their lives are so lost and sad. But the thing is that life isn’t supposed to be that way. Were supposed to be filled with joy as we are suffering because were helping someone else on the way! I love the gospel and to be here in Argentina. Have a great week everyone! My companion and I are going to a place where the cows go moo and where there are pure fields of grass! Haha.

Great things happening

7/31/17

Hola amigos y familia!

So many great things happened this week. This week we were with Hermana Molinero and Hermana Barlow in Banfield 4. There’s a lot of drama that has been going on, but in all the drama, I’m learning so much on how to help others when there is chaos happening. I think at times we don’t take time to think about situations and we just react really quick but the best thing to do is just stop and think. And that’s something that I learned this week. 

I was able to be with one of the new sister missionaries on her first day tracting because her trainer had a meeting. And it was such a great experience because I could see her progress in just one day. One of the hardest things for the new missionaries to overcome is being scared to talk to people. And she wasn’t scared at all. It was awesome. 

And the other great news that happened this week, is that my convert Maxi Benitez that is preparing for a mission got his mission call and he’s going to Mendoza Argentina! Yay! I’m so excited for him and I love seeing his progress and the best part is that he’s enters into the MTC Sept. 7th, right when I end my mission and he’ll be receiving his endowments my last week in the mission! I’m so blessed to be able to be here for everything. Blessings come when were obedient!

Happy Pioneer Day Everyone!

I hope you all had an awesome week like i did. So we got the call from president and ill be ending my mission as a traveling missionary. I’m excited because I learn so many things from others. Every week is a challenge but fun at the same time because every week is a new situation, the sisters work in many different ways. So we can have less drama and help them as best as we can, we continue how they do things, and tweak some things here and there. Lol. 

It’s crazy how fast time is going. This week flew by, but the weather was perfect. It didn’t rain a single drop this week. But this coming week it’ll be raining about every day! Woohoo! Haha. Well I love you guys so much! Have a great week and try to do something fun with the family! Summer is ending soon! Chau!
